"This Is A New Era Of Corruption.."

Knoxville, Tennessee's Whitechapel is pleased to release the cover art and track listing for their third full-length release, A New Era of Corruption due out June 8th via Metal Blade Records. "The album is finally 100% complete and we couldn't be more excited. I think this record truly represents where we are as musicians at this point in our career. A New Era of Corruption is the heaviest and most aggressive material we have written to date," comments guitarist and founding member Alex Wade. Alex continues: "Some of you may notice that the title of the new record, A New Era of Corruption, is a line from the song 'Possession' off of our last album This Is Exile. We wanted to name the CD this to bring a little flavor from 'This Is Exile' into the new CD, as well as I think the name represents this new age of extreme metal that we are currently rising in. The album is not a concept record like This Is Exile was. It just has its own general theme and each song deals with its own topic track by track."

Track listing:

01. Devolver
02. Breeding Violence
03. The Darkest Day of Man
04. Reprogrammed to Hate
05. End of Flesh
06. Unnerving
07. A Future Corrupt
08. Prayer of Mockery
09. Murder Sermon
10. Necromechanical
11. Single File to Dehumanization

Bonus Track Animus available only on digital and vinyl versions of A New Era of Corruption

Handling artwork for A New Era of Corruption is Brent Elliot White who has also handled cover artwork for bands like Job For A Cowboy and Carnifex. "Brent handled the artwork for the record and absolutely nailed it. The dark and ominous vibe he portrayed with his art fits the mood of the CD perfectly," states Alex.

A New Era of Corruption features guest vocals from Vincent Bennett of The Acacia Strain on the track "Murder Sermon" and Chino Moreno from the Deftones on the track "Reprogrammed to Hate." Alex elaborates: "Vincent has been a long time friend of the band and we have always talked about him doing guest vocals on one of our records, so naturally his style of vocals fits our music perfectly and sounds great. We're honored to have Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno on our record. All of us are huge Deftones fans so it's pretty surreal for us. He absolutely killed his part on the album and it's everything I envisioned it would be. Plus it's cool that Chino was so opened minded to do vocals on something so extreme; I think that it sounds fantastic."

In support of the upcoming release of A New Era of Corruption, Whitechapel is hitting the road to play about 30 dates, most of which are with labelmates Job for a Cowboy and Cattle Decapitation including stops at the New England Metal & Hardcore fest and the California Metal fest. Then come the summer, Whitechapel will be on the road as a part of the Vans Warped Tour Twenty Ten.

"We have some killer tours coming up in support of the new record, the first one being with Job For A Cowboy and the second one being Vans Warped Tour. The JFAC tour will be cool as it will be in smaller rooms with a more intimate setting with the fans. This is something we haven't done in a very long time so it will be awesome to go back and do some shows like that. Then we will be doing the complete opposite and playing to thousands of people a day on the Vans Warped Tour so we are very excited and honored to be a part of that."

Last but certainly not least, Whitechapel is set to film their first music video for the track "The Darkest Day of Man" off of A New Era of Corruption. The band will once again be working with famed metal video director David Brodsky of MyGoodEye and will be shooting in April. Stay tuned to MetalBlade.tv and Whitechapel's MySpace page for more details.

Yeahhh.. ni 1st time gk aku jejak kan kaki kat Bandar Sate ni. Jumaat ri tu pas balik keje sampai umah packing2 barang then terus drive ke KL same2 ngn Gemuk,Akam,Duan ngn Qawi. Tumpang umah Arol mlm tu. Letih giler kot drive 5 hour direct. Esok tu dalam tengah hari ktorg gerak ke Gombak lu jumpe Radzi and mkn nasi kat umah Tasha (tenkiu weh sbb hidangkan ktorg ngn asam pedas Melaka yg best)hehehe.. Then ktorg terus gerak ke Kajang tuk attend satu gig ni buat kat Equal Studio. Overall gig ni mmg best la jgk sbb kita blh tgk macam crowd. Ada yg botak, rambut burung belatuk, rambut tutup mata & mcm2 lagi la. Semua supportive & positive.

Pas hbis gig tu ktorg yg masing dah lemau sbb tak makan pon gerak nk carik tmpat mlantak. Masing2 duk ngidam sate Kajang. Yela, rugi la klau dtg sini x mrasa sate dia kan. So ktorang pon gerak ke Sate Kajang Hj. Samuri. Sini la pon yang femes stau aku. Orang rmai tak ingat. Dah mcm pusat membeli-belah dh. Hehehe.. Malam tu ktorg ramai makan besar gk la. Smpai tgk sate pon nek muak. Dalam masa yg same ktorg dapat spent time ngn mmbe2 yg lama x jumpe cm Radzi sume since masing2 dah praktikal jauh2. (rindu zaman2 time de klas dulu). So selesai je mlantak ktorang straight forward balik umah Arol. Then petang keesokan harinya tu ktorg pon gerak balik Kulim.

So pasni ktorang akan datang Kajang lagi. X sabar rasanya. Pada membe2 yang datang gig ri tu terima kasih sangat2 aku ucapkan. Kita jumpe lagi nanti. Salam !!!

Sakit,Perit,Jerih...

Ni aku nak kongsi sikit story sem lepas. Penat lelah aku 1 sem duk pulun buat benda alah ni. Makan, tido, rehat semua tu tolak tepi. Yang penting benda ni jalan. Stress & tekanan yang agak dasyat aku alami. Sampai aku buat benda pelik time tu. Hehehe..

Mesin urut? Tettt..
Ni sebenarnya mesin rumput serbaguna. Diadaptasi dari aplikasi mesin rumput + scooter. Nahh..hebat bukan? Hehehe..poyo lak. Sebenarnya benda ni dapat save energy, cost, environmental free sbb korg blh bawak bumble bee ktorang ni sambil memotong rumput. Relek + Santai.. Mane nak dapat jepp kat tempat len. Hehehe.. Nak menyiapkan benda ni cukup menguji kesabaran. Kalau nak cerita terlalu panjang tapi kalau korang nak try merasa boleh la cube develop menatang ni.

Aku berbangga gak la sebab dapat siapkan projek ni walaupon last-last minit tu kitorang sampai bermalam lam bengkel. Masalah sana sini, masam muka semua, duit sampai kering habiskan kat projek sampai makan pon sekali sehari. Mujo la mase presentation semua berjalan lancar. Alhamdulillah.. Akhirnya tuk final year project aku pass ngn result yang best. Pada kawan2 group bler blh jUmpe korg ni? Skg masing2 dah kemana tah. "NI KENANGAN INDAH KAMI"..

MY TOP FIVE FAVORITE DEATHCORE ALBUM

This is just my fucking opinion and personal review. Don't like it? Pussy? Scene Kids? GO TO HELL...

NO 5 : CARNIFEX - THE DISEASED & THE POISON

The Diseased & The Poison is actually the masterpieces of this band. I like their sound and the arrangement of music in this album. I prefer this compare to their new album Hell Choose Me (2010). Not much to say, as Carnifex is one of the biggest name in deathcore scenes. Their still rule & awesome !!!

* Myspace:

* Recommended tracks: In Coalesce Of Filth & Faith, Nature Of Depravity, Answers In Mourning, The Diseased & The Poison etc.

NO 4: CHELSEA GRIN - DESOLATION OF EDEN

Forget those stupid songs from their past demo's. Now they ain't trashin no more. This album really sack my balls. Released on February of 2010. They bring new fresh idea that way lot better from they 1st EP 'self titled'. They are 6 pieces deathcore band from Utah, U.S. According to them, Suicide Silence was their biggest influence and yet for sure they will be huge like them . I've enjoyed myself listening to all of their tracks in this album. So what are you waiting for? Go check them out !!!

* Myspace:

* Recommended tracks: Desolation Of Eden, Cheyne Stokes, Sonnet Of Wretched, Recreant, Revenant & The Human Condition (I love this songs the most.)

NO 3: SUICIDE SILENCE - NO TIME TO BLEED

Damned the politics & religion ideas that Lucker bring to SS music. It all seems typical to me when a metal band talks the same shit everyday but what can I say, Suicide Silence still the best. They've been around since deathcore genre was not popular yet. But lots of people say that they be more 'softer' in this album but for me this album is really sick. Released in June 30,2009 this album have 5 diiferent editions. You better listen to this shit. I bet you don't regret !!!

* Recommended tracks:: No Time To Bleed, Wake Up, Lifted, Wasted, Suffer & Genocide.

NO 2: THE CRIMSON ARMADA - THE GURADIAN

Well ladies & gentlemen, this is KING. The Crimson Armada own this places. The music, lyrics & arrangement was so amazing. I don't know what to say. This is what that I've been looking at. The Guardian is lot way better from the others. Saud was a beast and I like his vocal damn much. They talk about religion and believes in God. What a good boys huh !!! Still new and I wish to see them live. Please come to Malaysia. T.C.A rules !!!!

NO 1: WHITECHAPEL - THIS IS EXILE

Yeahhh.. the winner goes to WHITECHAPEL. The deathcore bands from Knoxville, Tennessee, USA. 'THIS IS EXILE' is the keys. Released in 30th June 2008 they already crushing the metal's scene before and this album brings their name to the top. I'm wonder how they created their music. I'm so fucking pissed off when I first listen to this album. Phil Bozeman, you are dead. I love this band. Can't wait for their new album this year. 'Fuck your FAITH !!!'..
